Rowan: the dog.

I just realized that I had not posted anything about one of the most important members of the farm! She is my friend, protector, confidant, floor cleaner, foot rest and warmer, newly appointed goat herder, wild animal alarm, part-time pest, and Macrae's living bongo drum. We wouldn't be complete without her!

Doggy, go home!

This is the visiting dog that was so friendly he needed to be tied up in order to get anything done outside. The last time he was here he was with a doggy friend and Macrae and I had to go inside for 3 hours and wait for them to leave. They even tried to come inside, begging at the doors! This time (yesterday), after many phone calls to neighbors, Lisa (next door) had him follow her car with a treat and she relocated him. So far he hasn't come back. (I wish I knew who the owners were so I can take him home next time, and the next, and the next....)
